On April 24th, we talked to the first-year students of the secondary vocational school in Revúca on the topic
(Non)violent relationships. We all live in relationships and are affected by them on a daily basis, so it is important to talk about this topic with young people. As part of prevention, we focused on discussing the forms of violence, manifestations of violent relationships, human rights and the need for respect in interpersonal interactions.
We talked about the options we have if we are victims of violence or witnesses of it, but also
about the need to have our own boundaries in relationships and talk about them with those around us. Today, we were once again confirmed that spreading awareness is necessary and it makes sense to talk about difficult topics, because it
provides space to better understand relationships and what is okay and what is not, but also information
about where to seek help and support if we need it.
